I thank you for this… I also find that in attempting to tackle many topics for my own blog, it is the topic of LOVE that inspires me most, leaves me with a sense of completion, and the feeling that my greatest fulfillment as a writer will always come from writing with LOVE in mind.

Congratulations to you, continue doing what you do and I will continue to read it! …so will many others!!!

  6. Serena,
I understand you “fasting” from words, there are times when the well of my being runs dry and I must wait for it to rise to a level where I might drink from it again. I am going to miss getting your website and reading your beautiful poetry. You have my email if you wish to contact me, I would love hearing from you.

  8. Serena,
On Wednesday, July 21, at 8:30 PM was the moment that God made the decision to have me return a precious gift that he had left in my safe keeping for many years.

A special child, born with special needs, and her heart stopped beating to the wave like sounds of a breathing machine.

although my head is filled with “words” I fear that I can do no more than breathe, your words bring me confort as the whisk me away from the reality of living.

Thank you dear friend, God bless and may I find peace in your effort to create words of wisdom.
    Elizabeth Ann

Poetry is not my only home – but it is the uniVerse where I am most fluid. I depend on the guidance and wisdom of Rumi, Hafez and Attar, Tagore and the sweet mother Rabi’a, and all the others who swirl in the joy and longing of connection and direction. I am so happy to have been directed to you.
